A lighting storm strikes in the Okavango Delta in Botswana causing a huge wildfire to spread rapidly through the dry grassy plains. This beautiful red lechwe stands frozen on the airstrip while the fire roars in the backgrounds. The next day we had to evacuate the camp because the fire couldn’t be contained. All is well with the camp and they took every precaution to put out the fire.
