Castle Sinclair is located on the far NE coast of Scotland and originally built in the late 1400’s. In 1577 George Sinclair imprisoned his own son in the castle for seven years suspecting him of leading a rebellion against his rule. The castle was heavily damaged in a siege in January 1680 and has not been inhabited since.

Hiking the Narrows in Zion National Park. I highly recommend this hike. It’s one of the most exhilarating hikes I’ve ever done!

Polihale State Park in Kauai, Hawaii. To get to this isolated and immaculate beach you have to drive a long and rutted dirt road. It’s absolutely worth the bumpy drive. The scene is spectacular. This is not a swimming beach - the currents are too dangerous and no life guards are present. Just enjoy the view.
